ok 1985 350x, 5 speed or 6?

I keep finding contradictory sites. My neighbor had a '85 with a 6 speed tranny, and Brapp says his '85 is a 5 speed. So which is it?

maybe he thought his 85 200x was a 350x, those had 5spd in 85 then 86 and 87 had 6 spd.
