which 250r case would you guys go with?

Well someone offered to weld my cases if i pay shipping but someone else mentioned that they have these cases. Which case looks best? any of them? or should i send mine out and get it welded?

All i can say is dont go with the 1st pic and the 3rd pic. After they break and they get fixed they always leak. You cant get a tight seal. I sure wouldent go with the 2nd either im sure you have some minor c rack then the ones above and get urs welded.

well they way mine is cracked it will look like #1 or #3 after its welded lol

because as far as i know the only new ones are either $550 from eddie sanders or like $370 or $340 off of ebay.

and eventually im going to be getting like an 87 engine and hopefully a pro-x330 kit or something similar so i just want to ride with this POS engine for a little while

Go with 1 if its free, if not gets urs welded.

i swore that someone told me they were discontinued. just to be 100% clear its the inner left side case on an 85 r. Let me know if you find anything out.

that is what i have heard also.and you can get them in halves.you dont have to buy the whole bottom end

well i dont know if its the same but the 86-87 trx case is $245.50 from service honda, not sure if that works on an 85 r or if it includes bearings. 11002-HA2-771

85, 88/89 cases are discontinued, 86/87 cases are still available, all the cases are nearly identical except for the color. 88/89 have some small differences. All year cases work with each other.
