I have purchased from him before! I can say this though, I will NEVER purchase from him again. That is a disgrace to tear down a perfect good machine all out of greed. He could have easily sold that machine for $2500.00 complete, but he would rather part it for around $3000.00 before all his ebay fees, etc.... I know people that do the same as this guy, get a machine and chop it as the parts are generally worth more. Well at least they have the integrity to realize that a super nice machine would be better in a good home. Maybe its just me, but I find it heart recking to see items like that destroyed for the all mighty couple extra dollars.

If he wanted a good 250R to part, that was not as nice as the 1 he did, I would have traded the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro! He would have gotten the same monies.

I couldnt agree more. I can see parting out a trike that cant be saved, but THIS. Pure BS.

I emailed him and chewed him out. Here is my message to him.
I cannot beleive that you destroyed such a nice machine! You could have easily gotten $2500.00+ intact and made someone that was looking for a 250R very happy. It would have saved you serious ebay fees, and a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro load of time. Machines that clean are harder and harder to come by and people like you make me feel sick. Would you by a Classic 68 Chevelle that is mint and part it? I would have traded you for a clean, but not as clean 250R that you could have destroyed. I guess its the all mighty dollar or few extra dollars that drives some.
    His response

i felt sick tearing it apart, but if it was not for people like me you could not fix your bike and then all bikes would end up gone.i am doing a service to all the people that need that part and cant find it for a reasonable price.
but i understand where you are coming from .i told my wife that it should be against the law to part such a nice bike.
    My return response
Thank you for the response, as I never expected 1. That machine just seemed so nice!!!!! I understand that you do offer a valuable parts service, but a machine that nice!!?? Their are plenty of rough machines out there to dismantle for parts. The few that are in great shape should be enshrined as they are classics from yesteryears greatness. Its like I said about classic cars. Their are those who only purpose left is for parts as its too costly to restore them. But when you find a rare gem, don't destroy it! If you don't want to keep it, their is always someone who will want it. I wish I would have known about that trike before it was disassembled!
This is like a new car dealer taking a car off the lot to give you parts for the car you wrecked! Except the car you wrecked has a readily supply of parts. Well the 3-wheelers are getting harder and harder to find nice. I spent a small fortune on my 85 250R resurecting it. trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro, if I could have just found a gem like the one that guy destroyed. I at least feel good that I saved a machine. It would have been one that was tetering on the point of a parts machine. Now its a good condition machine that will after next winter be a great condition machine.

Honestly in my opinon, probably 90% of the parts that were bought from that bike will go on someones ragged out POS that would have served a better purpose as a parts bike for the one that donated them the parts.

That sucks. That WAS a beautiful trike. Its a shame it had to go like that. Now...about the chevy, I would rather drop it off a cliff.
