Cr250 motor

ok, I know this may be a stupid question, but will a CR 250 motor fit into an 85 R ? I know it kicks backwards and I'll have to put bigger clutches in it, but other tha that will it work ? what about the angle of the water pump ? anyone ? anyone ? Bueller ?

ahhh,i ahev went over this soo many times.it will fit,rather simple.i got all the motor mounts made,and sittin on the shelf.you gotta dent the atc pipe to clear the p.v. assembly,and use a flexible radiator hose availble at autozone for the right hand lower radiator spigout,going into the water pump.i used a blaster kicker,that i machined to fit the lower splined shaft of the cr kicker.you have the lower cr part turned down,and a new detent cut in.this allows it to clear the plastics,and still kick backwards.

let me know if you want these mounts.a few people have offered to buy em,but none has sent money yet.they are now up for grabs

holy crap 3dogg...i sent those money's out a week ago? I thought by now they should be there. Sent in the 20 dollaz. I know we discussed this two weeks ago but I was bein lazy so i guess its my fault...its IN DA MAIL BROSKEY. lol....looks like they're already sold. Thanks for the info....kind of figured as much, just wanted to make sure in case I come across one, R motors are impossible to find around here, but I've found a few CR motors dirt cheap.
