I have a feeling it will be relisted after a little time.....singing the same old song of a deadbeat bidder blah blah....even though the bidder in question is probably a friend.

Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

I used a WWII-era airplane tire tube and it never failed me. Also, you gotta watch the muffler bearings on those 87's, the engine made so much power it often burned all the grease out of those bearings, and then BAM you have a seized muffler.

Well, muffler bearing failure isnt too common in the 87's. Hondason Yokioshi(pronounced y0-key-oshi) discovered the problem late in the '86 year and designed a fail safe system. See, they discovered that soap was the best lubricant. They engineered a system where the soap was dispensed every 5 seconds, right into the muffler which kept the bearings lubricated. The only problem was that you now had a machine that leaves a trail of bubbles. They were cool with that since the Japaneese love bubbles!

I lost my left testicle to that very problem! Muffler bearing locked up, seized the muffler, pressure backed up through the motor, and the airbox grenaded on me, taking my left testicle with it!!!

LongbedGTS: Yeah, but that was only on the official Japanese racing versions! Also, you'd have to fill up the liquid soap reservoir (not to mention the pollution it causes...)

TravEX: I heard Honda offered a compensation program to those who had their genitals harmed by the poorly designed muffler bearing system, but you might be too late to cash in. Sorry man.

I still have pieces of it in a jar of alcohol!

So, THAT'S what the reservior is by the horn and turn signal switch, LIQUID SOAP!!!! I guess I let mine run dry! I need a good kick in the nut for letting that happen! STUPID!

TravEX: Hmm. You should contact your Honda dealer to ask if he can give you a refund, if you've still got the remains.

87250es: Maybe this is the real reason trikes got banned??
