hello guys ! my friend just told me a guy he knows is sellin a kawasaki zinger...for 600 bucks it works excellent it's 225cc... yeah elec start, reverse, front/rearsusp apparently. Does anyone have pics of one, i am curious as to what they look like. lol.

I think someone has this all wrong...he would be looking at a Yamaha 225DX, not sure what they years of were but probably something around 84-86. Look up Yamaha 22dx on the search and im sure you will find pics. There almost like the Big red of Yamaha's.

yeah sounds like a yammy to me. i know they made the tri zinger and the little four wheeled version of it, moto4 zinger, but they were 50cc's i think. if its a 225 it must be the dx.

kawasaki never made a 225 three wheeler, never called anything a zinger since it would have infringed on a yamaha copyright, never had a three wheeler with front and rear suspension aside from the tecate
and if it is actually a yamaha 225, it would have to be a 225DR not 225 DX. and only the 60cc machines are called zingers

dr because of the reverse yes, my bad!! the klt250 had front suspension, but no rear.

Didn't kawi make something like a klt200? I think they were green, had front suspension, but I think they only had that rear axle that you could run locked or unlocked, meaning it would either turn 1 or both rear tires. Could be something like that.

Who knows, maybe you found something that the guy has no idea what he has.... I would definately go check it out, it would be pretty sweet if he had a Tecate stashed somewhere. Not likely....but man, what a find that would be!!

me the guy was implying the thing was a zinger, it zings right along, yah know. and perhaps its actuallya tecate and he just dont know what size it really is. get some pics if you can and post em up...we all should be able to tell what it is.
