Fourtrax rear linkage to an ATC 250R?

I just got done buttoning up the rear suspension linkage om my 86 R. I ended up using some my old stuff, because I could not get some of it new, But it's still in good shape yet. Parts are getting hard to find.
Just wondering if anyone has used the Fourtrax 250R stuff on their trike, either the whole works, or in part, if any of it will work.
That would make things better down the road when it comes time to replace again, if the FourTrax stuff will work..

I have 86 trx stuff on my atc's. It all works, just remember the bottom shock linkege bolt(that ties it all together) is a larger diameter on 86 atc/trx and up.

So that is the only difference in the linkages?
In that case all a guy would need is the linkage and that bigger bolt to use it on an ATC.
Then all the linkage kits for the FourTrax would work, I assume.
In switching to the later model 88-89 swinger,, you would need the linkage to swinger bolt as well, right?
I just want to know for when the time comes that the 85-86 linkage parts are no longer available, so I have options to keep the beast going

for a 88/89 swinger switch, you will need a back motor mount welded in, and also the 88/89 swinger is 1" shorter, so it will me more wheelie happy.
