    bead wont seat w/innertube

I put an inner tube in and aired it up to over 10psi. The bead wont seat on the inside and outside. I did slather it down with dishsoap. Id go more, but am afraid the tube will pop. Im already on the second tube!
What psi are the Chen-Shin tubes good to? Any tips on getting the bead to seat?

The tube is supported by the tire or it would never even hold 10 lbs. Sometimes it takes as much as 25 to seat them. Undiluted dish soap makes them slide on much easier.

I just put about 15psi in there and got the outside to fully seat. The inside still isnt budging. I am using a little ashtray powered air pump. Think it will go better if I take it to the local gas station air pump?

lololol you guys are funny lol
try a little wheel grease around the lip -/or vasilene petrolium jelly --verry lightly
it will keep them from corroding and dryrotting
and will seat easier with less air

PSI is PSI no matter where you get it. I won't buy Chen Shing anything but it does the trick... You can air that up plenty without a problem and use the lubricants these guys mentioned, I like dish soap.
