Ok, thats really weird it has a 196cc cylinder.
Im pretty sure the whole motor would interchange if you switch the middle drive gear components, thats what im assuming was done. Id like to see some pics thouhg.![]()
196 is also typed on the ID label??????
Is a ytm200 -"HAULER" shaft drive also?
Hey Cory....Where did ya get that # table? ....My haynes manual has nothing like that!!!!!!
Buy American! Unless your only option is a HARLEY.
A customer walked in to my shop and Impatiently stated "My car doesnt start, Whats the problem?"I responded with a smile-"Yep that sounds like your problem alright"----
It was in my Clymer manual.
The 200cc Yamahauler is a shaftie. There is also a 200cc chain driven.
Im assuming the engine was changed with a 200...PICS!!!
Why would 196cc be on the LABEL if the Vin is a 225?Originally Posted by thecdngirls
I cant come up with anything being changed, That would explain the numbers being so twisted?

I think the label hes talking about is the displacement that is stamped on the back of the cylinder
Do the Cyl's swap out?

He probably got the vin off the steering neck. But if he got the vin is off the engine cases it blows my mind.Originally Posted by Unclediezel
I was thinking MAYBE the guts from a 225 would interchange with a 200, but that seems like a lot of work to go through. We need some pics of the bike, motor and of the vin numbers
the 196 was on the cylinder at hte very bottom
the other numbers are off the steering neck
and it is shaft drive
the pics i have are not the best
i've got all the plastic off trying to wire it up

definatly a 225 frame. What is the VIN number off the motor?
21V00 is stamped on the cylinder right above where it bolts on
There is a vin number on the engine case (bottom end) should be 24W-00_ _ _ or something line that.....
Wow that thing is beat. To many wires ahhh!!!!!!! Also those tires are huge!!! STrip that thing down and blast it all t hen repaint it and reasemble. Should come out decent.
