Ok, thats really weird it has a 196cc cylinder.
Im pretty sure the whole motor would interchange if you switch the middle drive gear components, thats what im assuming was done. Id like to see some pics thouhg.

196 is also typed on the ID label??????

Is a ytm200 -"HAULER" shaft drive also?

Hey Cory....Where did ya get that # table? ....My haynes manual has nothing like that!!!!!!
Buy American! Unless your only option is a HARLEY.

It was in my Clymer manual.
The 200cc Yamahauler is a shaftie. There is also a 200cc chain driven.

Im assuming the engine was changed with a 200...PICS!!!

no it says 196cm3 on the label
i'll have to check to see but i think its shaft
Why would 196cc be on the LABEL if the Vin is a 225?

I cant come up with anything being changed, That would explain the numbers being so twisted?

He probably got the vin off the steering neck. But if he got the vin is off the engine cases it blows my mind.

I was thinking MAYBE the guts from a 225 would interchange with a 200, but that seems like a lot of work to go through. We need some pics of the bike, motor and of the vin numbers
