I agree about reporting the theft to law enforcement. You don't want to hit a minor or you will be the one in trouble with the law.
I have my trikes under my carport inside a 6ft. privacy fence with a locked gate. I also have my utility trailer backed up to the outside of the gate within about 10 inches.
I also have the best protection from theft of all. One 80 pound Olde English Bulldogge (not AKC fat kind) and his partner, an 80 pound Boxer. They both hate strangers. If someone can manage to get past those two, then they can have my trikes.

Well, IMO, I would go down there with a friend, and take the trike to where it was hidden, and wait for whoever comes back for it, and when that happens, subdue them and call the cops. Either way, wether you decide to do that or not, I would definitely take some precautions to make sure this doesnt happen again. First of all, I would chain up those bikes to something solid, and when youre not riding them, remove the spark plugs and put them in a special place. At least that way, who ever attempts to steal them is going to have to be pushing them a long ways. I would also make sure that your garage is locked, and I would reccomend having a dog with a least a good bark. That will at least deter people from approaching your house. Well, good luck to you, and I hope it doesnt happen again!

Thats awesome!!! I love boxers. Our old boxer was the sweetest girl in the world until you crossed her. I never even heard her growl until my aunts husky picked on her one to many times. She destroyed that dog!

Update..... For all of you worried I was going to go on a killing spree Chill out!!! I was never going to go beat any kids or anyone. I was only hoping to catch those responsable and if it was some kids just have a talk with them and there parents. The was no harm done to the trike. Yes I was pissed off but I have it back and there is no damage.

I did go hide out and waited and waited but no one showed. After about a hour I realized that all the kids were out of school Its fall break school is out I'm sure by the time I posted this thread they had already realized I had it back. I have no idea what I was thinking both my boys were out of school and in Flordia. It's kind of funny now to think about me out hiding like that for nothing.

Locks and chains, sign's and fake video cameras are going up

Well of course anyone WITHOUT a gun. In that case I would come out with my arsenal.
