Is 30 psi of compression enough to make this atv run??I can't even get a cough out of it while spraying gas into the intake...

whoa, 30. i think your going to have to do a new top end because you need to get that compression up. get a head gasket, cylinder base gasket, and definately some new piston rings. also you want to make sure yourcarb is working. you might want to take it off(and apart) and soak it in some carb cleaner. also, make sure your spark plug is getting spark. but first of all , you need to get that compression up. the gaskets are cheap, but the piston rings will be more than you think for just those little things.

140 max psi compresion test.120 psi minimum. You need to have it at operating temp before doing the test. You have to turn the motor at least 5 times to get good results.
