It's definately going to take some time and $$$. I'm not going to go bankrupt doing it though, I'll get the parts when extra dough comes up, but I can always clean, scrape and paint everything for now. I'm going the spray paint route for the frame and engine. Several coats and then clear coat. The plastics will look horrible on a clean frame, maybe I'll Krylon those with their plastic paint or just get new plastics. I think I'll start with a nice freshly painted frame and work from the ground up. The work is half the fun, right??

    Nope...I still have it.

I was saying it was to late because you already bought one.

If your not going to use that engine.....whats the chances of it having a good stator & flywheel? If it does....would you sell it?

I don't know if will be any help to you but here is a link to the rebuild of my Tecate.....http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/s...ad.php?t=27860

If I find a different engine and all controls with it for cheap money, I'll sell you what I have, but untill then I'm just going to plan on sticking with the original motor.
