I cant wait to pick it up, of course its not as clean as that one in the pic, but thats what it is. I figure I have a few year, at lest 5 to get in restored. I wonder how many of these kits are still around? pretty cool, definatley. I bought it so me an the boy can race the ice oval together someday.

I've been wanting one for a long time. I've pretty much decided to build my own. Great buy, i'm glad it's going to a good home and it's a great addition to your collection. with it, the tiger, and that suspended tri-moto, you've got some awesome stuff from back in the day! had it been within a days drive, I would have been in the running for it myself. You need to hunt up the radiator shroud. judging by the seat/tank set up I'd say your looking at an 85 KX 80 chassis. not sure about the motor, the guy said it was from the 90s. It looks to much like an 84 Tecate with the missing shroud and those same size tires all the way around. you need some go-kart tires for the back of it. take care of that rear fender, god knows what it is. probably fiber glass.

I've seen several KX60s and 80s. I'm ready to see again a cr 60 or 80 conversion, or maybe even a suzuki or yamaha. I've got some pics of mini quads but I want to see some trikes! I'd love to build a 1984 YZ 80 (last yellow one) into a Tri-Z 80.

congrats and please post some good pics when you get it! I love those mini conversions!

maier makes the rad shroud, its listed in Dennis Kirk. If there are quad conversions still being made, I would like to know who and where makes them, possibly get a new set of fenders?? You are right, the collection is getting pretty interesting. Im pretty stoked. It will be restored and well taken care of.
