I'm curious what the power output for the headlight on my R is. Being without a proper headlight led me to fab up a custom solution with some stuff I had laying around the shop. Is 55W too much for my elecrical system?

I know my Tri moto only had a 45 watt OEM bulb in it, now i'm running a halogen blue bulb rated for 55/60. been using that for about 1 1/2 to two years with out any problem, no burnt wires, lighting coil is still in great shape, no signs of over drawing.
