    ytm225 intermittent spark

    I have an 80ish ytm225 it has intermittent spark. Tried 5 different coils and wires and plugs(2 are brand new, checked Plugs on Skidoo, all have spark also brand new)....4 or 5 pulls looses spark... when it does spark it's good and strong but then it get progrssivly worse...Good clean ground... Any ideas?

    I had a Yam quad the same way. I replaced the stator and that fixed it. I would say check your stator wires and coils for a short.

    Well we finally figured out the intermittent spark problem.... It was a bad CDI box.... We changed it with my brotherinlaws to test, and it worked.... Now to figure out why his isn't working so well..... His 200 starts and runs but has no jam to pull itself....
