84250R what will fit a 200X/fl250
What parts will fit a 85 200X and a 83 FL 250 Odyssey. From a 84 250R ATC? As posted previously the R has a bad 2nd gear. If I decide to use parts off of it will anything fit?
Also is $250 reasonable/cheap/out of line for a 84 250R bottom end, with a good tranny? Jim

i'd say 250$ is too much, i just won a complete engine off ebay for 150
i have no idea what parts are compatible...theres gotta b atleast one tho lol

the thing about buying it from this guy is he'll stand behind it. if I put it in and its bad which it shouldn't be,because he rode it. He's got another one he can give me. But I really don't want to part with another 250 dollars. I just rode it around the alley and thought I could adjust the clutch, hoping maybe the clutch wasnt pulling all the way off, but no luck.
I put it in the paper this weekend. If I don't get any calls I may just go ahead and fix it right. I figure I just installed a timing belt and the rest of the belts in my wifes car. I was quoted 305 dollars if I took it in. Since I saved 250 in labor I figure Im even. Jim
