    boyesen power reeds

    i have a 81 250r im putting the boyesen reeds in and the instructions show to take the stoppers off is this correct.

    i tryed them out without the spacers and it idles alot higher now im unsure which screw on the carb adjusts the idle... i also have a reed spacer on there.

    it's true no stopers.

    and use lock tight on the reed screws.

    its the big screw on the side of the carb with a spring behind it. make sure you dont have a gasket leaking or a cracked intake tube.
