how much do you folks have in your trikes?

Purchase price for my Z, 1800. the mods to my Z are hitting around 900, plus another 900 this winter of upgrades.

My other Z is looking at 1400 purchase price, and another 300 this winter.

350 for the 85 SX, 200 for the 200.

And I bought another 86 Z for 750, and sold it for 1350.

So in total, in canadian funds, about just shy of 5 grand.

I only paid $100 for my 198? 200X, and right now i have put no money into it except for gas...It had no back wheels when i bought it, but i got some rims and tires for free. It pays to know the right people haha. It's in pretty good shape, i may eventually get an actual 200X motor for it, but probably not. I'll probably end up popping it, not having a silencer can do those sorts of things lol, but untill then, i won't spend a cent on the thing

I have about 500 in my R but it needs alot. I've got about 1000 in my 350X, and I've got 500 in my big red that I bought from the original owner. And worth every penny!!!

well i bought it for a wopping $550 i know i know....and put about 700 in it.....but she runs perfect....this winter im doin a complete make over...so the total will be even more.....but i have no regrets.....

and i found this ina guys back yard he gave it to me and i got around 500 in it but thats mainly the 200x front end and the Mud shark rear tires....few more cosmetics and she be ready for the cover of playboy....prolly not but she runs great no smoke.......

It's driving you nuts to spend money on that "R" isn't it stop adding up every nickle and just do it if it's something you'll enjoy riding. BUT, 800$ turns into 2 grand real quick, so get what you want to be riding.

I've had an 85 250SX I paid 300$ for and an 87 250SX I paid 175$ for and they both stood me about 2000$ to 2500$ each.

Also an 85 250R I paid 700$ for that stood me about 2200$ when running and an 85 200X I paid 200$ that turned into 800$.

Looks like alot of us find beat up rusty junk and have no problem dumping wads of cash into it. Alot of us will do it to almost any trike we find only to sell it 3 months after we rebuilt it just the way we wanted. It's just the way it is....

yea but my problem is i dont ever wanna sell them...lol....i just cant bare the thought of someone letting it set ina fields all over again....so ide rather just keep it in my barn where i know theyll be safe and not in the elements.....ill save any trike if i have the money......

I have every receipt and I kept a little book for everything I bought for my 200x. I bought it for 475... Now I have $1113.13 into it.

I have 3900 into 86r.I also have an 83 250r that I bought 10 years ago for 800 and have maybe 1400 in it over the years.also have 85 350x with about 1700 in it.

I purchased my 85 Big Red from a friend about 10 years ago for a $1000.00. I stripped it down to the frame and have powdercoated all the parts that were orginally powcercoated or painted black, have got all new oem plastic except the trunk lid, all new oem cables, and alot of other stuff. Probably have spent at least another $1000.00. Am now ready to start putting it back together.

my 85..??????lots..I built that before e-bay and my computer,,TRY DOING THAT!! My 86 mx roughly 4,000+ and soon to be more, 5,000+ stoped counting on the drag 490, and still dumpin more in it.
