    KLT 200 Questions.

I am looking at buying a KLT 200. I am wondering how easy parts are to get for these (clutch kits, piston kits e.t.c). Also, the carb, front mudguard is missing. How hard will these be to get (second hand).

Is there any known faults with the KLT?

    Cheers.

pretty rare i think. i had a carb 2 years ago for one and a gas tank cover at the seat. i know of a KLT200 40 miles away from me. might be able to get you the whole bikes less the carb and tank cover.

may take me til next year but i can try. shipping could be a alot though, but its a complete as much as i know.

Ebay seems to have alot of KLT200 parts. Bought a few things 2 months ago. Then last week I myself parted out and sold a KLT200C also on Ebay. I have a few items left if you or anyone else needs them ??

i bought one. found every part i needed on ebay very easy . most of it buy it now. its still not running yet. that has turned out to be the hard part. definatly harder to rebuild than my 250r was. i guess thats why the parts were so easy to get.
I got a roll a quarters an making change !

I too got most everything I needed from Ebay but found some stuff locally and with the help of our members here.
The only faults I know of are the CDI box(expensive)and mine had a messed up rear diff due to someone over tighting the adjustment nut?
Parts are fairly easy to find but nowhere as easy as an ATC.
I like my KLT,it's a tank lol and it takes a little getting used to but all in all a good solid trike,
    Good luck on the purchase!!
