Is that exhaust even bolted on? And wont it melt the oil cap?

2004 YFZ450 - CP 12.5:1, cam mod , gibson nerfs, hmf pipe, protaper bars + risers, dg bumper/skids, holeshot gncc's on itps, cycra handguard and more stuff to come.
the head is awaiting valve guides, so no, its not bolted on. Not sure on the oil cap, will get an aluminum one if necessary.
Boxed aluminum frame, stroker 110 engine (181cc), it's all coming together right now. Hope to have it finished soon. It won't be the prettiest, but, it will be a runner.

It didnt look like it was bolted on, but once it is i bet it will look and sound great! And yeah i would replace that cap, i didnt know if that one was metal or plastic. I melted mine when i used to have a XR50 exhaust on mine.

slightly off topic, but when you've used XR exhausts in the past, have they bolted right on or did you have to use the stock exh flange and weld it on?
I fixed this guy up a couple of years ago. Its still running strong!

Pete, When i used the xr 50 exhausts, you have to bend the header slightly to fit over the engine. And since the frame is a box, i just drilled a hole for a mount and it was good to go.
