86 250r, need rim size recommendation

I just bought a set of ITP holeshot HD 20x11x9 tires for my 250r and I want to eliminate the gold rims and go with Douglas Red Label, but what size rim do I look for to fit these ITP's? I'm pretty sure the 9 represents the rim size right? so I need a 9" rim with 4x110mm bolt pattern but what width and offset do I get?

You need a 9"x8" wheel for those tires and yes you are correct, the 9 represents the wheel size, 11 is width of the tire. I don't think there is an option for offset with the red label wheel but check different sites. The wheel will come with either a 4/4 offset or a 3/5 offset, I can't remember which. Ask when you order them.

The most common choice for your application will be a 9x9 with 3"+6" offset. The first number is the tire bead size, the second number is rim width. The offset is how far from the center of the wall is that the hub bolts to. An offset allows you to gain width, or by flipping the wheels, you can reduce width.

Ok, I have one other question since I was told about either a 9X8 or 9X9. Either will work but will the 9X9 keep the tire at a more 'flat' profile than the 9X8. Probably pretty minimal huh? Just thought I'd ask though....

Just a bit, if you want some flat ones get some 10's it would be wider for the bike to and help with stabiilty..
