    250R Carb kit???

I just aquired a 1982 250R and am waiting for a few ignition parts to arrive so that I can start her up. I thought about rebuilding the carb in the mean time....not really sure if it needs it though. I searched for one on ebay. Found one made by a company called Shindy. Is that a good brand? It's only $25 plus $6 shipping.

Any opinions on this matter would be appreciated!

    I have used them before.

Shindy is a great brand for a carb rebuild. i have used them before to rebuild my carbs. They are a basic rebuild kit for a stock carb. Just make sure you tune right and you are all set. To get the little drummer out of your lower end of the power band, drop the needle one outa time till it quits from 1/4ths to 1/2 throttle.

Thanks for that info. Yeah, I'm afraid that I am clueless when it comes to tuning a carb.
