Already having problems with my 70

As soon as i got it home. i rode it around the yard. then i went inside to get my daughter and wife to show them. as soon as i got back outside it wouldnt start. then the pull start bombshelled. I have took it apart and put it together three times and is still doing the same thing it is very hard to pull and will not retract. If anyone has a nice one for sale i will buy it.

That sucks man. Did you try to push start it? You should be able to buy a recoil rebuild kit from dennis kirk or ebay.

pull starters suck, what you ave to do is load the spring you have to wind it up with the rope in it then pu thte rope through thte hole and add the handle, that way it recoils all the way back all the time, I've done this to almost every recoiled started machine I've ever owned kinda trick sometimes but after Ive done that Ive never had any more probllems from them.

also replace the rop while you got it apart. you can pick up a cheap rope and handle from walmart in the lawn mower stuff.
