i just got an 85 250sx and i dont like the rims.when i tried putting my 86 rims, and x rims the brake drum was to big and hit the rims.i was wondering if i could change it with the 86 drum and hubs?

Nope, whole different setup. You can change the whole rearend with the swinger etc which have much better sealing brakes than the 85 but other than that, you need to run larger rims.

They may not fit I'm running 85 R rims on my 87 SX, but I remember a problem with those rims and that 85 SX drum..... You can sell them to me for my 87.....

8 inch aluminum rims require 1/4 inche spacers added to the right side to make the rim fit, theres plenty of stud on the hub to make it work, I did that to longbedgts's sx so he could ride one day
are you sure that there is enough bolt on the tread for the 8" rims,becuase on the 85 the hub is inside of the drum and they dont realy have long studs.were could i get spacers?
