    Fair asking price?...82' 250R

OK, so I'm in a bad money bind and need to selll the 1982 250R that I just aquired. The motor is good on it but it appearently needs a new stator. I just rebuilt the carb, changed oil, cleaned tank. The seat is good on it but rear fender is busted. What should I try to sell it for? Is $500 fair?

are those rear tires pro wedges or 4 snows?

if they are pro wedges 1 or 2 you have a rare find there.
May be worth parting those out.

Without those tires, id say 600-700ish...if you could get the motor going expect at least 200 more as long as the shocks are good, all brakes work, strong compression, inst really missing anything major. It appears your front forks are slightly bent also.

personally i think $500 is high. it needs work. but i am looking for one. so if you were near me i would definilty be asking about it. i have paid to much and gotten deals. i think $500 is a fair price to start with. it is basically this. what another is willing to pay,and the lowest you want to sell it for. just dont sell yourself short right at the start. someone may want it and want it badly. best of luck. and thanks for being to far away for me to buy it.
