    atc110 Chain Guard Question

    Anyone out there know if a chain guard off of a 1982 110 will fit on a 1980 110? Also, would a tank and seat/rear fender from an '85 model fit an '80 model.

    '85 Honda 250ES Big Red
    '97 Polaris Sportsman 400 4x4 2-stroke
    '04 EZGO TXT

    Former trikes;

    85 & 86 ATC 250es Big Reds, 200e, 185s, 200s, (2) '84 250r, Yamaha 175 2-stroke, ATC 70, (2) ATC 110, TriZinger 60

    As far as the tank seat and fender, they will fit, but sometimes the seat doesn't match up exactly with the indentations on the tank. You can make some small adjustments once you put them on the bike, you will see what I mean when you do that. I really don't like the look of the seat wrapped around the tank, but to each their own. I have an aftermarket frame with 85 fender, seat and tank. I just used them as the engine is what powers the trike and it was convenient. As far as the chain cover, look on a website that lists honda part numbers and compare between the 2 years. I would say it would be pretty close. Heck, you don't even have a to run a chain guard if you don't want to. You wouldn't be the first person that didn't. On the aftermarket frames there isn't even any provision to run a chain guard. Good luck with your trike.
