Cross Referencing our Trike parts

We all know that the ATC 185 and the 200 models are virtually the same ,and the TRX and ATC 250R's ,share some of the same components and the tri-z's are mirrored 3 wheel conversions of the YZ's to some degree and the same for the Tecates and the KX's ! How much are each brand alike and ,if you guys wanna get a few cats out of the bag,I thought it would be interesting to find out what you have cross referenced from different machines and found were the same part # and or found that worked !! Say for instance I have an '85 250SX ,What exactly can be crossed over to a '85 Big Red??? Are the radiators on a YZ the same as a Tri-z ?? Do The ALT110 and the some others share the same frames???

86-87 200x Topends interchange with fat cat and trx200sx top ends. TRX350D top end can be used on a 350x. 86-87 200x rear hubs are the same as trx300ex and 400ex and 450r i belieive. Im pretty sure you can use an 01 raptor 660 brake disc on a 200x. The 83-85 200x uses the same top ends off the xr200r. You can put the XR motor in it for a hotter cam and 6 speed trany. Im pretty sure the CRF230 bolts into the 83-85 200x also. A early 200x seat is almost the same size as the later model. A 300ex/250x motor is almost a direct bolt up to a 350x frame. There is some internal parts that swap frpom a 300ex to a 350x, a shift fork possibly.????? A 350x grab bar is the same as the early 200x.

One more thing! How could i forget. A 185s/185/200s/200 motors go into the 200x frame for an AUTO X.

The 350X grabbar cross reference to an older 200X!!! I never knew that!!

you said 86-87 200x can use 300ex/400ex hubs, actually the earlier year 200x's were able to use the 300ex/400ex hubs, and it gave you + 1 1/2 inches in the rear! i know this because i did it with my 84 200x great setup, definately buying better then wheel spacers. the 200m/200es heads i believe were the same as the early model 200x's, and yes the xr200 engine SINGLE CARB years will bolt directly into the early model 200x's, but its a backwards kick so beware, youll have to cut a fender. this isnt a cross reference - but my buddy DeathMan on the forums here, he put a 250r front end onto his 200x. great setup, if i think of anything else ill let you guys know

BY THE WAY - will a kx250 motor bolt right into a tecate 3 ? and will a yz250 engine bolt directly into a tri-z ??

Yes im pretty sure yz250 goes into triz. Also a yz490 goes directly into a triz
