    Cool horse power differences from a kx250(265) to a stock triz power valve motor?

    what type of horse power do they put out. no porting just a 2 over kx cylinder on a tecate and a stock pv cylinder on a tri-z. thanks for any help.

    What year KX? The KX250 (83/84) cylinder itself is an estimated 4 hp gain by itself over the stock Tecate cylinder.

    The 83/84 KX is the only year KX that will swap for the Tecate cylinder.

    yes a (83 84)kx cyinder , bore 2 over (265) nikasil not sleved in a 85 tecate . Vrs a stock power valved 83 yz 250 cylinder in a 86 tri-z .what would the tecate put out and what would the z put out in hp. with similar carb and exaust set ups. thanks

    i know my 83 yz motor has 38 stock , mine has a pipe and bored carb, motoplat ignion, turbo crank, im sure it has a few more ponies now, but the kawi should have more stock than the yami the same year..
