    The Tecate has been stretched

Just finshed stretching the 85 Tecate this week, came out pretty good I think..
Now you can really get on it out the whole and not have it jump up on you it's +10 now

Still needs some work, actually ahve a question, when we have the air filter on the bike tends to choke up and without it it runs like a beast.. question I have would it be the jetting on the carb? Never touched it since we owned it because it sat for a few years, cleaned it out the carb though recently and it still runs like a dawg with the filter on, any ideas?

How old is the airfilter? the fine foam types like the OEM/Moose/No Toil seem to break down pretty quickly and they clog themselves up. If the filter is old, replace it with a UNI or K&N airfilter and see how it runs.

Yea we personally run the bikes a bit rich so they odn't heat up and break down the motors, but our other bikes run fine like this, just this one is acting up..

Billy the old filter it had before was OEM and it broke apart.. We just got some UNI's today going to see if it works out; the k&n's didn't though, it was too small ( the volume) so it wasn't helping any

Just a DG pipe and a little gearing.. It had been sitting for a few years so it was time to revive and stretch it like the others for safety and performance..
