    anyone heard of the G3 reed cage's. Look at the chart where it shows the flow of CFM's. it has a little more flow than the Boysen rad valve assembly. Anyone use this kit on there 250r? Is it worth me buying the G3 over the boysen????

    I have read up on the G3 cage. I think If you were drag racing with a big bore cylinder & big carb you could gain big. Your reeds can only pass as much air as you carb alows In. I have used stock cage's with boyeson pedal's, V-force, FMF ram valve's. The cage I use on my 310 Is an old Mossbarger cage, It's huge compaired to the other's I've used. I used the V-force's on the 310 & the mossbarger's work better on the bigger engine.
