piston rings i bought on ebay

I won an auction that clearly stated the rings were for a yt175. After a week of receiving my payment the seller sends me an email saying they would send it out the next day. I get them and they say on the package that theyre for a xt 200. When i looked up the numbers it said it was for a ytm 200. The seller claims they cross reference and will work on a yt175. Does anyone know if this is true? I cant find anywhere to cross reference them, but bank bandit has different part numbers from a yt175 then for a ytm200.

No, they are not the same. The (3rd bore) oversize YT has the same size bore as the (standard bore) 200 but the rings list a different part # for both aftermarket (weisco) and Yamaha. What is the part # on the set you recieved? Is there a oil ring in the set or just 2 compression rings?

do you mean it 200???
the xt's are 4 stroke so are the ytm's - the 175 isn't- so neither will work-
how many rings are there? 2 or 5??? with a goofy looking one
the if its a 4 stroke the goodyt looking one is the center of the 2 oil rings-
i would ask what the hell the deal is

THEYRE 4 stroke rings. 5 in each packages including the oil ring. 15a-11605-00-00, 15a-11605-00, 15a-11610-40 are the part numbers. i got three sets.
