    New tire suggestions??

Hey guys and gals, I'm looking to get a new front tire and a bilet shifter for my 85 25or. Do you have any suggestions on brands, models, and where to get it from? Thankx in advance.

The most popular tire seems to be the Dunlop KT576. It is one of the few tires for the 11" front rim. Plus it has a center row of knobs for a smooth ride. It is what I have on my 85 250R. It is basically the stock tire. I have the Dunlop KT 577A tires on the rear. As far as a billet shifter ESR makes a nice one. I chose to have my stock shifter chromed with the rest of my parts. I like the stock one chromed personally.

Thanx for the reply Mike. Any idea where I can get the tire from. Would Honda bike stores have them? Know of any websites? I'm located in Vancouver canada and just wanted to ask around before I bought.

I have always seen the Dunlop tires advertised in magazines such as Dirt Wheels in the ads for Donnelson Tires. I also know of Tread depot .com. Or search Dunlop ATV tires on the web. Check the Magazines first or ask your local ATV shop to order them. I think Donnelson advertises the tire for about $45-$50 plus shipping and all the other charges. I buy mine localy for about $80 bucks mounted on the rim out the door.
