    What year is this 250R tank & bringing a plastic yellowed tank back to life.

    Anyone know the exact year?

    Also, for those of you that do not realize it, a tank that has yellowed with a fairly thick layer of it on can be cleaned right up with a razor blade, wet sanding and steel wool.

    This rectangler spot I did took just a few minutes with a razor blade and steel wool. The spot is far from perfect yet, this is just to show what little effort it takes to get it 1/2 decent again.

    By the looks of the cap, I would say a 1985. But it will work on both the '85 and '86.
