Been lusting after a 70 for months, now I'm lusting after having it running. Then it's on to either an early Z50R or a 200X. Although, I do know where there's a 200S that I may be able to swing a deal on, being's that my dad went to HS with the guy and everything, and he doesn't ride it.

i want to get my hands on nice restorable 200x, got a line on one and i am not worried about it going anywaheres anytime soon either, the guy has like 5 or 6 rollers and a few complete ones that need a little tlc, and he said anytime i am ready to get one, they are there for me. going to be trading him a bunch of parts i have for a complete roller that needs a rebuild on the motor. not bad actually, i have all my oem blaster parts just sitting here taking up space, and a few left over 84 t3 parts i am throwing in too, and he will trade me. pretty good deal if you ask me. but first i have to get my 85 t3 done, and blaster rebuilt before the ole ball n chain will let me start on something else. but when they are done, i will have a 200x sitting in the garage right by them. i need a four stroke to thump around on, getting older now, time to start slowing down. lol, yeah riiiiiiiiight. really though, want myself a nice running four stroke to do some trail ridding, and save life on the two strokes.

Once I finish my T3 I'm not sure what direction I'll go. Been looking at everything from a TRX250X, Tri-Z, 85 T3, sleds, shiftercarts, 350 Wolverine, and now more then anything I'd like a bigbore fourstroke in a TRX250R chassis for all the woods riding I do!

Honda did not make the 185s in 1984. 1983 was the last year for it.

I am constantly dragging home decent bikes and rebuilding them. At this point, it is not so much looking for them, they find me. It is a decission of what it will need to be ridable. I really want to get my hands on a 86 Tecate and a water pumping R before too long.

Im not sure what Ill get next, but would like a 200X, 350X, 85+ Big Red, or 250R aircooled. Or...ALL of them!
Currnet project is my 84 125M in about a billion pieces on my living room table. Its getting a full restore though seeing these 'nice and shiny' 125Ms on the Bay are awful hard to turn down.
Itll be worth it in the end though.

ATC 200s began in 84 with no 185s made in 84. 200s models ran through 86 with that model year being the last and certainly the most scarce. 86 models had the one year only blue seat like the 85 atc70 for its farewell.

I got so many ideas that I want to happen... But I need to sell some of my junk... Parents are building a new house currently. I'll have the garage right next to my room in the basement. Then, I'll hopefully get a good deal on a Z, and make it a flat track racer!

i guess part of the reason I don't have one yet is that I don't want to travel too far to get it, but thanks for the offer

I love Big Red's. My interest in trikes made a big comeback around September. This guy had an '85 250es and a '80 110. I wanted a project for me and my son to work on since he got bored with Karate (he's only 6) and already made BlackBelt in his age group. Got those two running and........
then I started getting awesome deals I couldn't pass up. A '91 YFM100, camo, rack, 22" on rear, setup for hunting, runs very strong. This will be for my son and is the atv he is currently learning on. The 110 is just too much for him and is a super wheelie machine.
Then I found the Mint '86 Tri-Zinger only a few miles from my home and I jumped on it. I promised my wife I would save it for xmas. It's killing me. I think I'll be more happy than him once he sees it. I think this is a perfect learner trike.

Now that I got my projects running (just need a little more work on the 250, bearings, etc.) and am now looking to sell the 110 and am looking for some 200cc big reds or 200s/m, yammy 225, etc.

Ok I know it sounds kinda crazy, but after I finish the last atc 70 with suspen, the trx 70, and the modifyed z50r with a 70cc top end race cam etc, I have been toying with the notion of either rebuilding this 200x I bought for $75 or doing some frame work with the extra frames I have lying around and modifying it to accept either the motor out of a 1979 xl250s, or maybe even adapting a mr250 elsinore to it. It would be a large project and nothing has even been looked at yet. I have all the old part bikes that I can't seem to want to let go of,just need the other projects done first. Also my 2nd oldest boy wants to build a chopper trike from some of the atc part bikes I have lying around, its kinda funny I will have to add a picture, he is 11 and he has mocked up a atc 70 frame with a z50 gas tank, front end off of a 1965 s90, seat off a vt 800, atc 70 rear fenders, sissy bar of an old cb750, big flat track tires on the rear, all he is missing is the sissy bar. I love his imagination.
