    Custom mud flaps

You guys are going to think Im crazy for asking this, but...

I have an 86 350x. Great condition, but the previous owner put some huge mud tires on the back. And it slings mud all over me when I ride. I mean, it covers me. I was thinking about making some fender flares or mud flaps or something to help keep me cleaner. Any suggestions on pre-fab items or which materials I should use? Thanks!

crazy carpet plastic is ideal (we use 'em for kids sliding on hills) 4 bucks gets you a 28 X 60 sheet of plastic which works perfect.

So your fenders are in great condition? Would be a shame to bolt some "crazy carpet" to it. I would suggest getting some beater fenders, and having your way with those......

    Good luck

the thought has definately crossed my mind!

Thanks for the help though, i will check into the crazy carpet sheet. I also like the idea of getting a new set of plastics!
