i built this motor just for fun out of 200s and 200x pieces, the motor runs but needs rings. it goes through the gears ok but when u down shift it doesn't engine break.. any ideas

You have a bad one way clutch in there, allows it to freewheel one way and grab in the other.
All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country
