Ran fine when I shut it off 2 weeks ago. Starts fine now, shifts into gear fine, but no go when clutch is let out. It doesnt even pretend to move...I have about 15 hours on new clutch plates. I pulled those apart and they look fine. I seem to be missing a steel ball between the lifter rod and the lifter...What is the function of it? Any help would be appreciated. I have not dug past the clutch plates yet. However I do notice I can now push it when it's in gear with no resistance. And the sprocket that the clutch plate cover bolts onto spins freely. This should do that should it? Any help would be great! Thanks

That little steel ball works as a spacer and as a bearing. It keeps the shaft from spinning very much while the clutch is actuated. I don't quite understand what part your talking about spinning. ( I am tired right now ). lol

I will get the book later and check it out.
