    New 84-85 Tecate gas tanks

www.bikebandit.com has new red and green tanks listed for the 84-85 Tecate....I thought these were discontinued and couldnt be found new? The price is kinda crazy but if you are restoring to original might be worth looking into...They are $217.83 http://houseofmotorcycles.bikebandit...ame~Tecate.asp

That would be nice if that was 100% true(not saying that it isn't), but some of the stuff that bikebandit says is still availble is not. But would be great if it is.

I always thought that if a part was not available on bikebandit it was listed discontuined and had a price of $999.99

I've orderted alot off them and they have always had fast reliable service. Kinda on the pricey side compared to some other sites though.

I know there was a few things on there in the past that I could not get thru kawasaki so I just asumed that they were discontinued. but like I said , it would be great if they where still avalible.

Bike bandit has let me down too many times with that old gag. Try to order a carb boot for a t3 and you will know that they are not as up to date as they claim. It's too bad, I would love to have a new tank or 2.

hahahaha, bike bandit says alot of things are still availible, you place your order with your credit card, they do a search for the parts you ordered, and more then likely its not in stock or discountinued, and they dont charge you for it. been there done that with bike bandit. i ordered 5 things for my t3, bike bandit was the only site that said they had the parts, needless to say only one of the items i ordered was actually availible, the tank strap. all the other stuff was discountinued, and even for the tank strap alone it took me a month to get it. i can guarentee the tanks are discontinued.

Just hit em up with an E-Mail

Ihit em up to see if they do have Tecate Tanks. If they do the price is good for a trike like mine. Ive seen NOS Tecate Tanks go for over $400 on E-Bay. I would love a new one to make my Tecate look perfect.

I emailed to find out if they have them..This was there reply...

Thanks for writing in to BikeBandit.com. Unfortunately, we do not have
the tank in our small inventory. We would have to order it from
Kawasaki. We would need 3-5 business days to get it here to us. If you have
any further questions or concerns, please let us know.

I don't see the point in buying a tank that will turn out faded like the ones we have now....go steel or POLISHED ALUMINUM!!!

Maybe::: But we'll look good now. In twenty years i might not be riding, or worse maybe dead who knows, but having a new tank on my t3, priceless!
