I had the same thing happen to me a few years back. I got way out on a trail and the return trip brought me thru a BIG creek crossing. I watched as my friends w/ the sportsmans made it thur. I went 7th on my 225DRS, I hit a rock, bounced and the current took it out from under me. It happened FAST, all of a sudden I was in, trying to keep my head above water. The 225 did 2 roll overs as it went down the creek. Did I mention it was 15 out w/ snow on the ground? 2 friends w/ waders went in for the 225DR, winched it to shore, hit the start button and she fired back up!! I couldn't believe it. Ran good on the way home, til the throttle cable started to freeze (as did my clothes, boots, underware, ect..). I rode it home by using the on/off to bring the revs down and trying to shift when I could. By the time I got back to the barn everything i had on was frozen into 1 block of ice. The guys have sence named that crossing after me, its now known as HANLEY CROSSING. YEP, GOOD TIMES!!
OHH YA... No beer involved, the bar was going to be the next stop. I managed this SOBER!!
