    Question 185s front end ?'s

This maybe a stupid ? and it's hard to describe what i'm talking about but hopefully somebody can help me! I can not figure out how to get the axle back connected to the forks. Theres these two round parts that go on the end of the axle bolt that go into each fork and thats what holds the axle in there besides the nut oviously and the axle can't just slide thru the slot in the bottom of the forks b/c of this. Theres the slot and then it turns into a circle for this axle holder/peice or what ever its called so you can't just set the forks on top of the axle and throw the bolt on. So I thought that you put the peice in the one side of the fork then put the bolt thru most of the way and then put the peice in the other side but that didn't work and I don't want to mess up the threads on the axle so...... does anyone know how this front end goes back together b-4 I wreck something? Sorry it's hard to explain!! Thanks in advance

I'm assuming your talking about a 185s without suspension.
Loosen the axle nuts to where there is only 3-4 threads holding them on. then slde the 2 collars ( 1 per side ) towards the axle nut. The axle is smaller towards the end and it can be lifted into the cut out part on the bottom of the forks. Once the axle is in to where it sits you slide the spacers into the hole on the forks and tighten the nut down. Be sure to do both side spacers before tightening the nuts down.

P.S. Some times it takes more than a hour to get a reply to help questions. Just be a little patient please.
