Help! How do I take the forks apart (YTM)?

I have the YTM apart to swap everything over to the suspension frame and I figured I might as well go through and replace the fork seals, sliders, and bushings. I have the tubes off but how do I take them apart? They don't have a screw on the bottom like the other forks I have taken apart.

Also, has anyone found a trick to getting the top caps out? I got one out with a little struggle but the other one is stuck. I pushed it down and got the ring out but it is now stuck in the down position. Any ideas on how to get it out? Compressing the shock does nothing.

One more thing, How much oil do I put in the forks? I really wish I remembered to bring my manual home from school.

    Hey ..
I downloaded the Ytm 200 manual from the link in "'s" sig. It covers the full fork rebuild.

OK, this sucks! Has anyone ever taken YTM forks apart before? I made a press like the manual said and all I did was bend the press. The stupid seals won't come out!

Did you ever have any luck with this? I went riding today and hit one big hole, fluid comes shooting out of my left side.

Nope, not yet. After bending my homemade press I gave up for the time being. I am going home from college for the summer today so I will start back up on the project. I was thinking of making a bigger press and using a bottle jack to force the fork to compress. Besides, now I have to get these things apart as I have a few more sets waiting to be rebuilt for spares in the shed.

Yeah definitely let us know how this goes. I also am wanting to change the 22 year old fork oil inside my tubes but need to know of a effective way for removing those pesky seals.
