We need to get some of the original tests on the performance models up on this site so we can all reflect. Say all the liquid models then fill in from there. Probably not a big need to do the smaller four stroke models since it wasnt about all out performance. We need a separate area for this. I know it would be a lot of work but, would be well worth it

I have around 6 or 7 old mags and I love them. I used to have the complete 84-86 series of dirtwheels and complete 1984 editions of 3 wheeling. But when i grew up, the old mags were thrown out by my parents when i went off to school. I still miss all those articles and all the cool color pictures.

I think it would be really nice to have an ftp link setup for all the old scanned articles. I know 3 wheelerworld has some, but there is so much missing. With the atc collections that people have on this site, all the old editions i am sure can be easily obtained. Each member that has these mags can scan one month in and coordinate their efforts with others. This would benefit the community greatly since people like me are paying 20-30 dollars on ebay to get these magazines

Then everyone can look up their old tests on their machines and such to find out cool stuff from the alt 50 to the tiger 500. This would make this website much more complete also and save everyone some money. Just a thought.

You have to realize the amount of storage and bandwidth that it would take to make the stuff available. Not to mention the amount of time it takes to scan them. I know it takes me a average of 1 - 1 1/2 hours to scan one mag cover to cover. I have a bunch scanned already, but they are for my personal viewing so that I don't wear out the original mags.

Plus you have to get permission to make them public. Not that easy to do.

I have most of the early to mid 1980's dirtwheels, 3 wheeling and 3&4 wheel action mags. I also have a few special ones such as Petersons "3 wheeler" magazine. the early 80's to around 87 are the glory years for 3 wheelers and old quads too. cool stuff
