Christmas came early for my 350x
Well, my new lower end, .50 cylinder, 12:1 piston, head (ported it yesterday) gasket set, frame, fork seals, rear tires and wheels, and rear tailight have come so far. I recieved the flywheel a few days ago and have already sent it to yamahondaman to have it lightened. I am still waiting for the clutch, head rocker cover and 450r muffler to get here. I still need to order the cam and valve train(undecided on which cam and valve train to get, any suggestions?). There was nothing wrong with the original lower end but I found this one on ebay really cheap. When it showed up I could not believe what I was looking at. From the condition of the unit it appears to have very little time on it. My original stock engine is still in good condition but smokes on startup (will be a backup), so the new one should really put it to shame. Needless to say I am really excited and needed to share the excitement with my new buddies at 3ww.
