ok for christmas i got my 5 yr old nephew a 1984 honda atc 70. it runs ok but it don't really idle, so i messed with the air idels screw and that didn't really help, could this be the carb do i need to clean it out or what? and is this one of the last year or is it the last year? thanks, kody

Sounds like the pilot jet is dirty; they're pretty easy to take apart. I believe 85 was the last year.

carb cleaning.. definitely... blow through all the holes in it to make sure they aren't plugged... use compressed air or carb cleaner... and hurry.. your cuttin it a lil close to christmas..
