Hey guys not to hijack the thread, but is this how I can make my clutch lever smoother like a new bike? Yea it puts a hurting after while of riding with the 20 year old set up... I love the new bikes because the clutches are soooo freaking smooth.. How can I get this for my 86R?

a trick I learned years ago is to flatten out the lever a bit where the clutch cable attaches on the engine case. This makes it longer and takes less pulling force to exert the same amount of movement on it. I actually flattened mine totally flat, and machined the corner of the cylinder a bit to clear it. It helped out alot.
