Question Swingarm ext on a tri z

Has anyone done a swingarm ext on a TRIZ? I now its a dumb question because Im sure someone has, my question is do you do it to the original swingarm or did you make a new one? I have a spare swingarm but its HEAVY... so any ideas would help.

Look for a thread with Bryan's 490z, he stretched his own waaaaay out. I think Yamahondaman (Ronnie) has one also. I'm sure someone with more info will chime in shortly.

what yolu will have to do is get tubing that is alittle bigger, then get it cut, so that it can be made the size to fit like this [ ] to this [] any welding shop should be able to cut some metal to make it work for you, aslo the best wayto do this is to pick up an extra swinger and cut and remove a piece from one for the other.
