    Exclamation Quick question

    i have a 79 110 and just rebuilt the motor. when i shift into gear it dies on me unless you push start it?i adjusted the clutch a little and now it wont move unless its in low gear high gear nothing? could this be in the hi/lo box or could it be my clutch? i got the clutch off ebay before i rebuilt the motor cause thats what started the project clutch exploded would a diffrent year clutch hurt i asked my honda dealer and he said no so any help would help im going to try and swap out the hi/lo set with a nother one i have in a spare motor to see if it helps i also have a new sprocket on the motor would that cause it? thanks

    Sometimes wether in hi or low, it is hard to switch the gear range over. At times my 110 had to be rocked back and forth while sliding the lever into the opposite range. If your trike isn't moving after trying to change ranges, it is not fully engaged into the range you are putting it into. Hope that makes sense.

    can you run with out the hi/lo gears? i think thats why it dies when i put it in gear when it worked in hi

    No, if the trike is not locked into hi or lo, it would just spin. I'm not sure of the year of your trike. Maybe on the later year trikes it was set up that if you weren't in gear it would just quit. I don't know.

    its a 79 i got it in hi but it still dies when you put it in gear mabey the clutch disc are messed up i might try diffrent hi/lo gears though
