hey guys. i put the x cam in my trike now should i adjust the valves to 200s specs or to 200x specs? the x needs to be at 0.002 and the s is 0.003. is it normal for it to idle like a drag car? you know like it is going to stall out but it doenst.

The stock Honda XR200 piston is 10.0:1 compression.
That XR cam looks good; it is also from the older XR which is supposed to have a slightly better cam then the newer ones. Of course that is providing the cam is the original. Apparently Honda switched to a slightly milder cam in the later XR motor and replaced the old part # with the newer style cam, this was to help emissions, or at least that is what I have heard. I was thinking of trying the aftermarket cam that is on ebay, I asked the seller and they said it is a stock XR grind but they never said what company makes it. Nice price though, here is the link (they list a new set about every week)...

I am not sure if there is a difference in the 110 and 125 cams, I do have a performance atc110/125 cam I would sell cheap. I will pm you about it.

The 200x is the .003 and the 200s is .002. I would set it at the 200x (.003) specs. if it were my trike. The cams are different but the rockers are the same.

the 200x has better compression so it would be better to run it right? I dont see any listed on ebay for earlier years tho.. I will try to find an 82-83 wiseco for 2nd over on a 200x.
actually - the atc 200 wiseco has a 10.25: 1.. so that would work

the x cam has more lift on it. its a decent diff. it was worth putting in i think. i cant tell u the diff because my s one was totaly shot.
