    picked up the 80!

    just got back around 8PM, its nicer than it looked on ebay, pics tomorrow. It IS a conversion kit, front and rear fenders are fiberglass, in good shape too. I think it may be a 60, but I cant tell. Might be before 1985, cause the forks really have nothing for front brake holes on it so Im thinking might have been a front drum KX bike. I dont see why it would be so hard to convert any dirtbike to a trike, looking at this thing. Oh, and the guy had the rad. shroud too, its cherry. In the pic, the rear fenders were not installed correctly, just sittin there, if you do it right, they look alot better. I will get some pics tomorrow. The drive was brutal, about 500 miles round trip.

    the rad shrouds are dime a dozen they are kx 60 radd shrouds. and if it were an kx 80 it would have disc brakes also. you just may have a 60 holic. like to see some pics.

    thats what I need to know, the cylinder says "JAPAN 0060" then some funny symbol, whether its a 60 motor in an 80 frame, I still dont know. what year did they have front discs on em? was the 80 disced befor the 60? I thought the 60 was built later than 85-86, I dont remember them when I was yuounger???
