    Warrior Experts!!!

I have an 87 warrior that needs a few parts. As I understand it, the 87-88 warriors were somewhat different than the 89-03 models. What is interchangeable between them? I need a steering stem and front hubs. They look like they will interchange, but im not sure. Will the plastics interchange? Thanks!!

I think the main difference was the rear axle carrier. The early models were held on by 4 bolts, and that was replaced with a different long bolt style carrier. Banshees did the same thing, but also used J-arms in the old ones. Im pretty sure everything but the rear carrier and maybe swingarm is interchangeable, and those could probably be changed if you did the entire unit.

As far as I understand the new plastic will bolt right up. The only thing that needs to happen is a bracket to put the newer headlights up high to make it like the new ones. My wife has a 1999 so if you need any measurments or such let me know.

... the really early Warriors had a back-up pull starter on them as well.
